This is the spirit of the Christmas Markets in Arco which, like every year, amaze, enchant and make people dream.

The markets develop around the Collegiata, a Renaissance building with a Palladian imprint, in the evocative Piazza 3 Novembre and Piazzale Segantini, surrounded by the public gardens with ancient plants of rare beauty. On Via delle Magnolie and Viale delle Palme are housed donkeys, goats, rabbits and cows; here is also located the ancient casino, a nineteenth-century building with an iron and glass veranda, now a café that keeps the name and the charm of when it used to be a place of meeting, leisure and entertainment (the Kursaal) for the Middle-European society who used to spend the winter time in Arco.

The magic of Christmas is perceived among the stalls (open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 19.00, Saturday until 20.00) in street performances, in the illuminations, in concerts.
From December 26th to January 6th you can watch the FABULOUS SHOW: A bundle of light steeped in history, a fairy tale that has become legend and tells of a contrasted love, between dragons, fairies and sorceries of the fabulous past of Arco.
Along the Via Stranfora, a narrow street of the ancient village full of ancient houses with winding and cobbled streets at the foot of the Castle, there are the characteristic cribs.

But not only Arco, from the traditional Christmas market to events for children with the House of Santa Claus and the Academy of the Elves, from the original market in the Medieval Village of Canale to the fancy Village of Taste for the sweet tooth. Other markets are also waiting for you in the picturesque Borgo di Rango and in the nearby town of Rovereto.

The whole lake framed by fascinating mountains: a unique place, a single territory, many different events for a unique holiday in the most magical period of the year. The warm golden lights that make the atmosphere, the windows of the illuminated houses, the Christmas markets that warm the heart and in the background of this "postcard" there is him, Lake Garda! Christmas on Lake Garda has a charm that has no equal.

You can choose one of the eight rooms, all different from each other and each one dedicated to a product of our farm or to a home-made dish that you will find at breakfast. Breakfast, the first cuddle of the day that we reserve for our guests, served in the Casaliva breakfast room with the striking fire crackling in the majolica stove and inebriated by the characteristic scents of winter mornings such as cinnamon, cloves, chocolate, ginger or from freshly baked bread.

 

And if you have not thought about Christmas gifts yet, why do not take something as genuine as the products of our farm? EVO oil, olive patè, wine, honey and homemade jams, as well as a selection of useful objects made of olive wood and hand-crafted by a local craftsman.

Something different but definitely a well appreciated Christmas thought!
